FASTING THERAPY
Fasting is primarily the act of willingly abstaining from some or all food, drink, or both, for a period of time,The word id derived from the old English , ‘Feastan’ means to fast, observe. be strict. In Sanskrit ‘ Vrath’ means ‘determination’ and ‘Upavasa’ means ‘near to God’.A test may be total or partial concerning that from which one tests. and may be prolonged or intermittent as to the period of fasting. Fasting is an important treatment modality for health preservation. In fasting, mental preparedness is an essential pre-condition Prolonged fasting should be done only under the supervision of a competent Naturopath.
The duration of the fast depends upon the age of the patient, the nature of the disease and amount and type of drugs previously used. It is some times advisable to undertakes series of short fasts of two or three days and gradually increase the duration of each succeeding fast by a day or so. No harm will accure to fasting patient provided they take rest and are under proper professional care.
Methods of fasting are water, juices or raw vegetable juices, fruits. During tasting, the body burns up and excretes huge amounts of accumulated wastes. We can help this cleansing process by drinking alkaline juices. Sugars in juices will strengthen the heart, juice fasting is therefore the best form of testing. All juices should be prepared from fresh fruit immediately before drinking. Canned or frozen juices should not be A precautionary measure, which must be observed in all cases of testing, is the complete emptying of powers at the beginning of the fast by enema so that the patient is not bothered by gas or decomposing matter formed from the excrements remaining in the body. Enemas should be used at least every alternate day during the testing period. The total liquid intake should be approximately six to eight glasses. A lot of energy is spent during the fast in the process of eliminating accumulated poisons and toxic waste materials . it is therefore of utmost importance that the patient gets as much physical rest and mental relaxation as possible during the fast.
The success of the fast depends largely on how it is broken. The main rules for break in the fast are do not over eat, eat slowly and chew your food thoroughly and take several days for the gradual change to the normal diet. During fasting, Sexual intercourse is forbidden. Talking is restricted to meet the essential needs.
HYDRO THERAPY
Hydrotherapy is the use of water, both internally and externally and at varying temperatures, for health purposes. Also known as water therapy . hydrotherapy includes such treatments as saunas, steam baths, spinal bath, hipbath, armand foot baths, hot and cold showers, and water therapy.
Principles of Hydrotherapy
According to proponents of hydrotherapy, cold water causes superficial blood vessels to constrict, moving blood flow away from the surface of the body to organs.Hot water causes superficial blood vessels to dilate activating sweat glands, and removing waste from body issues.
Alternating hot and cold water is thought to decreaseinflammation and stimulate circulation and lymphatic drainage.
Sitz bath - A sitz bath involves two adjacent tubs of water, one warm and one cool You sit in one tub with your feet in the other tub, and then alternate. Sitz baths are recomended for hemorrhoids, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and menstruation problems.
Warm water baths - Soak in warm water for up to 30 minutes. depending on the condition. Epsom salts mineral mud, aromatherapy oils. ginger, moor mud, and dead sea salts may be added.
Steam bath or Turkish bath - Steam rooms are filled with warm, humid aid. The steam to help the body release impurities.
Compresses - Towels are soaked in warm andor cool water nd then placed on a particular area on the bodt. Cool compresses reduce inflammation and swelling, while warm compresses promote blood flow and ease stiff and sore muscles.
Wraps - While lying down. cold wet flannel sheets are used to wrap the body. The person is then covered with dry towels and then blankets. The body warm up in response and dries the wet sheets. It's used for colds. skin disorders, and muscle pain.
Hot fomenation - For treatments of acute condition such as chest colds and coughs, pain etc. It is said to relieve symptoms but also decrease the length of the illness.
MUD THERAPY
Mud is an important elements of nature. It contains important minerals which have positive effects on human health. Mud can absorb toxins from human body there for is very useful in preventing many diseases. It is also known for its healing properties. It also helps in cooling and relaxing body as it can hold moisture for a long time.
Benefits of Mud thrapy
It relaxes muscles and improves blood circulatioinlt maintains metabolism renedering positive impact on digestion
It is useful in conditions of inflammation/ swelling and relieves pain
It is a good hair conditioner and is good for skin
It is useful in condition of stiff joints
Why use mud thrapy?
Out of the five constituent elements of this universe mud(earth) has a pivotal role to play in our well being. The dark color of mud helps in absorbing different colors and conveying them to the body, giving it therapeutic properties. Also its shape and consistency may be modified with ease, just by changing the water content, which makes it easy to use. A mud pack is advantageous over a cold compress (cold water therapy) as it retains the coolness over a longer period of time. Therefore, it is recommended whenever a prolonged cold application is required Lastly, it is easly availabale and a cost effective treatment option.
Mud therapy could be used in two forms:-
Mud packs : This involves frequent application of packs mud. It help in improving skin complexion and acts on skin spots and patches to reduce them.
Mud Baths : This involves application of special kind of musd rich in natural salts and mineral over the entire body. Mud baths are useful in many skin diseases such as Psoriasis. Urticaria, eczema etc
Mudpack
Mud packs are typically used for local application.
Mudpack for Eyes : Mud soaked in water is spread to make a half inch thick layer. it is placed on the eyes for 20 to 30 minutes. An eye mud pack helps in relaxing the eyes, especially good for those who require to sit in front of a computer for long hours.
Therapeutically, it reduces irritation, itching or other allergic conditions such as conjuctivitis and hemorrhage of the eye ball. It also helps in correcting refractive errors like short/long sightedness. It is effective in Glaucoma, where it works to reduce the eye ball tension.
Mudpack for Head : A head mud pack is normally a thick narrow band. It is applied over the fore head and helps to heal congestive headache relieves pain immediately
Mudpack for face : Fine mud is used for face and a smooth paste is first made using cold water. Apply this paste evenly on the face and leave if to dry for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes one must throughly wash the face with cold water. It helps in improving the complexion of the skin. In cases of acne it helps by absorbing excess oils and toxins from the skin. It also helps in reducing dark circles around the eyes.
Mudpack for Abdomen : The size of a mud pack for abdomen is generally 10 min X6 in X1 in for adults. The mudpack should be applied for 20-30 minutes. The body and the mudpack should be covered with blanket, if applied during the cold weather. An abdomen mudpack helps in all kinds of indigestion. It is very helpful in decreasing intestinal heat and stimulates peristalsis.
Mudbath : Mud is kept for 45 to 60 minutes and ideally be exposed to sunlight, at least intermittently. Remember that the head should always be covered when exposing the body to sunlight. Afterwards, the person should be throughly washed with cold to luke warm water. Dry the person quickly and transfer to a warm bed. A mud bath helps in increasing the blood circulation and energizing the skin tissues. It thus helps in cleansing and improving the skin condition generally. Regular mud baths may be considered as natural beauty treatment procedure as it also helps in improving skin complexion and reducing spots and patches, possibly the result of some skin disorder like chickenpox or small pox. Mud baths are useful in many skin diseases such as Psoriasis, Urticaria, leucoderma, Leprosy and other skin allergic conditions.
Despite therapeutic properties of mud which are very useful in maintaining good health and glowing skin, the over-use of mask applications may lead to excessive drying of the skin. Therefore it is essential to keep the pack moistened to avoid excessive dryness and stretching. Also, the mud must be carefully chosen for obtaining desired results, and its quality must be ensured to avoid any complication.
SUN THERAPY
Sunlight brings warmth and life to our planet. We would not exist without it. Sunlight is yang energy. It vitalizes our system!
Benefits of Sunbathing
Sunbathing improves blood circulation.
Sunbathing helps in eliminating toxins from the body.
Sunrays help in synthesis of vitamin D in presence of ergosterol calcium found under skin. Therfore sunbathing everyday in mild sunlight (between 6am to 8am) helps infants strengthen their soft bones. Also calcium and Phosphorus are useful to body only in presence of vitamin D. Research studies suggest that UVB rays promote synthesis of vitamin D3 in human body deficiency of which affects calcium metabolism which further leads to increase in blood pressure.
Sunbathing improves conditions such as Osteoporosis, Paralysis, Gout, Tuberculosis and other skin ailments
Scientific experiments in winter season on 34 sad,m disintrested, aloof, irritated, and lazy people hjave revealed that sunbathing for 3 hours a day helped 30 of them normalize.
Science behind Sunlight Therapy :
Pineal gland of our brains secrete a hormone called Melatonin. This hormone plays an important role in helping us fall asleep. However, over production of this hormone leads to laziness. Production of Melatonin increases during dark/night and falls during daytime. Melatonin production is affected by intensity of sunlight, while Blue/Green rays hinder Melatonin production. Violet/Red rays improve it. Therfore, Sunbathing act at hormonal level to keep disorders at bay. Scientists at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have conducted various experiments on Melatonin and concluded that intensity of Sunlight, spectrum and time affect health. Those who do not get exposed to sunlight may develop physical and psychological disorders.
Please note that excessive sunbathing mayu lead to skin cancer, skin irritaion, wrinkles, glaucoma and complete blindness. Therfore, it is advisable to sunbath in moderation.
Lack of sun exposure can lead to fertility problems, heart disease, inflammatory bowel disease, depression , SAD(Seasonal Affective Disorder), Cancer, fungus, arthritis...
Sunlight therapy was a medicine of the pre-antibiotic era, when infectious diseases were common place and the only defence against them was a strong immune system.
Depression
Melatonin is a hormone which controls sleep, and serotonin is a neurotransmitter that is tied to states of wakefulness and being in a "good mood." Serotonin is the anti-depressants chemical in the bloodstream which helps elevate moos.
When the body percieves sunlight, seotonin and endorphin levels increase. And the more sunlight the human body is exposed to, the more serotonin the brain produces.
When the sunlight hits the optic nerve, some of that light is sent to the gland in the brain in charge of melatonin. In response, melatonin secretion decreases. when the sun goes down, the body increases its secretion of melatonin.
The overall effect is "downtime" st night and "uptime" during the day.
Insomnia
Exposure to sun during the day will regulate the natural rhythm of hormone production, Serotonin during in the light hours of the day and Melatonin during the dark hours
Clears Skin
Skin irritations such as acne, rashes, eczema, and athlete's foot can be cured by sun exposure.
Regulates Hormone Production
The sun can hellp regulate the production of hormones by stimulating the Pineal Gland regulating its secretions, which may allow for more creativity, insight, and mindfulnesss, as well as helping to improve your mood, helping decrease symptoms of PMS or menopause.
Breaks Down Toxins
Sunlight can help improve liver function, and assist in breaking down wastes and toxins in the body.
Increase Circulation
Exposure to the sun increases both white and red blood cell count and helps the blood circulate more efficiently.
Vitamin-D
The most known benefit of sunlight : Vitamin D.
Vitamin D helps the body regulate the immune system, increase calcium absorption, which leads to strong bones, and avoid kidney stones, diabetes, and even obesity. D3 also improves cognitive functions and decreases the chances of developing Alzheimer's disease.
Sunlight Therapy- Sunbathe Responsibly
So how do you sunbathe responsibly, in order to recieve the sun's gift without being over-exposed? Most importantly is to know how long you should spend in direct sunlight at one time and choosing the best times of day.
Early morning and before sunset are ideal times of sunbathing.
Increase your time in the sun gradually. As you spend more time in the sun, your skin produces more melanin-the pigment giving you a tan. Never stay out long enough to become red or burned.
Sunscreen: Not only does sunscreen not prevent skin cancer, it can cause cancer in several ways.
When you wear sunscreen your body does not produce Vitamin D3 from sunlight. This amazing vitamin is incredibly important for your health and is known to help prevent numerous types of cancer.
The vast majority of sunscreens contain a numerous harmful chemicals. These chemicals are absorbed into your skin, weakening the immune system and making your body more susceptible to many diseases, including cancer.
If you are in a situation that requires exposure to the sun for a long time, try to wear a hat and long sleeves to cover your skin...and drink alot of water.
The safest ways to protect your skin are to pay attention to how much sun your body can handle, drink lots of water, and to eat a healthy, clean diet.
The light and warmth of the sun are required by all life on earth.
Precautions during sunbath :
It is important to stay hydrated during sunbath. One should drink at least one glassful of water during sunbath.
It is important to cover your head with a wet towel during sunbathing.
After taking sunbath one should bathe with water
YOGA THERAPY
It means the integration of body and mind. Yoga therapy utilizes poses, breathing techniques, and meditation to benefit and improve overall halth. While any type of yoga can bring health benefits, Yoga therapy involves employing a variety of yoga practices to try to improve a health condition or to ease a natural process, such as preganancy or menopause. Among the yogic tools used therapeutically are asana (the physical postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation and guided imagery. Although many people don't realize it. yogis also consider diet an integral part of yoga and therefore of yoga therapy.
Why Yoga?
Therapeutic yoga is an inherently holistic approach, simultaneously working on the body, mind, and spirit. Various yoga practices systematically strengthen diffrent systems in the body, including the heart and cardiovascular system, the lungs, muscles, and the nervous system. Yoga practices can improve function of the digestive system, foster psychological well-being, and improve oxygen delivery to tissues. Yoga also can help the body more efficiently remove waste products, carcinogens, and cellular toxins.
Most people live stressful lives, and yoga—and by extension yoga therapy—is perhaps the best overall stress reduction system ever invented. Stress has been linked to a wide variety of medical problems. from migraine headaches and irritable bowel syndrome to potentially life-threatening conditions such as diabetes, osteoporosis, and heart disease. Since persistently high levels of stress hormones, particularly cortisol, can undermine function of the immune system, here too yoga can help.
While yoga by itself can alleviate a number of problems, it is a particularly effective as a complement to other forms of health care, both alternative and conventional. Studies suggest, for example, that yoga therapy can lessen the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatments for people with cancer and facilitate faster recovery after bypass surgery. in clinical trials, many patients with asthma, type diabetes (formerly known as adult-onset diabets), or high blood pressure who began a regular practice of yoga were able to either lower their drug dosage, or eliminate some pills entirely. Less medication means fewere side effects, and sometimes, very substantial cost savings.
One Step at a Time
While yoga is strong medicine, in general it is slow medicine. The key to successful yoga therapy is an incremental approach, which tends to be safer and more effective than moree aggressive strategies. It is best to begin yoga (therapy) as medicine slowly and ramp up the intensity and duration of practice only as circumstances allow. For some particularly those with serious medical problems, therapeutic yoga might begin with only a posture or two, or a single breathing exercise, until they are ready for more.
One Size Does Not Fit All
Probably the most common misconception regarding yoga therapy it that there is one particular pose or sequences of practices that is therapeutic for a condition. No two people are alike. People have diffrent strengths and weaknesses, diffrent degrees of overall health and fitness, and diffrent levels of experience with yoga. Even people with exactly the same condition-say breast cancer -may vary in disease severity, their stage of treatment, and the amount of time they can devote to their yoga practice. Many people have more than one condition, and practices you might normally suggest for one problem could be contra indicated for another. Each of these factor will have a major impact on your choice of recommended practices.
DIET THERAPY
Diet therapy promotes a balanced selection of foods vital for good health. By combining foods appropriate for each individual and drinking enough water, one can help maintain the best possible health. Eating a proper diet is critical for the health of individuals, groups with special medical and dietry needs, and entire popilations afflicted with malnutrition.
Individualized diet therapy can provide the patient imporatant insight into food-related illnesses and education regarding how various nutrients (protein, carbohydrate, fat, alcohol) affect illness, diseases, or obesity. Dietary therapy can be tailored to meet the treatment needs of patients on diagnosis of specific illnesses, can help reduce complications and/or side effects, and can improve general well-being.
Precautions
A particular modified diet is prescribed specifically for each individual. Those individuals who have medical conditions or who are sensitive to certain foods need to be very compliant and cautious about what they eat.
Individuals should not follow a "fad" diet without first consulting a registered dietitian or physician. popular (but sometimes dangerous) low-carbohydrate diets, for example, may deprive the body of the glucose it needs for central nervous system and brain functions.
MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage has been practiced for thousands of years. The term "massage therapy" includes many techniques, and the type of massage given usually depends on your needs and physical condition. A massage can last anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours. In Naturopathy, massage therapy is used for treatment of many disorders and for up-keeping a good general health. Massage has been in use as a therapy for many centuries to cure different ailments.
Hippocrates is known to have used massage therapy for treating many of his patients. While performing massage therapy on a patient, a therapist manipultaes soft tissues of body to restore health of a patient.
Massage therapy is very effective in toning body, nervous sytem, elimination of body waste/poison throguh kidney, bowel, skin and lungs, and improving respiration. Massage therapy is also useful for improving blood circulation, relieving pain, fastening metablic rate, delaying apperance of facial wrinkles, easing stiffness of body, and toning muscles.
While performing massage a therapist could use oil depending on the condition of the patient. Ideally, body is massaged for forty-forty five minutesbefore local part massage of around ten minutes. Once massage is complete, oil must be washed away.
Although massage is very useful for curing several disorders, one must not use massaging for serious inflammatory or tubercular condition of joints. For less severe conditions of joints and swollen joints, it could be used. Massage must be avoided in condition of gonorrhea and diptheria, as massaging could spread pus in the body and could worsen the situation.
Half of the weight of the body is contained in the muscular tissues and a quarter of blood circulates in muscles. Therefore upon given a massage, the body's blood circulation improves and muscle regenerates to hold half of the blood. Therefore, muscles get nourished asa a result of massage and get strengthend. Also, different modes of manipulation help in improving contractile power of muscles. Massage therapy is very effective in curing ailments, yet therapist must assess condition of the patient before providing him with a massage.
CUPPING THERAPY/ HIJAMA
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
The cups may be made of :
Glass
Bamboo
Earthenware
Silicone
Cupping therapy might be trendy now, but it's not new. It dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures. One of the oldest medical textbook in the world, the Ebers Papyrus, describes how the ancient Egyptians used cupping therapy in , 1,550 B.C.
Types
There are different methods of cupping, including :
Dry
Wet
During both types of cupping, your therapist will put a flammable substance such as alcohol, herbs, or paper in a cup and set it on fire. As the fire goes out, he puts the cup upside down on your skin.
As the air inside the cup cools, it creates a vacuum. This causes your skin to rise and redden as your blood vessels expand. The cup is generally left in place for up to 3 minutes.
A more modern version of cupping uses a rubber pump instead of fire to create the vacuum inside the cup. Sometimes therapists use silicone cups, which they can move from place to place on your skin for a massage-like effect.
Wet cupping creates a mild suction by leaving a cup in place for about 3 minutes. The therapist then removes the cup and uses a small scalpel to make light, tiny cuts on your skin. Next, he or she does a second suction to draw out a small quantity of blood.
You might get 3-5 cups in youe first session. Or you might just try one to see how it goes. It's rare to get more than 5-7 cups,
Afterward, you may get an antibiotic ointment and bandage to prevent infection. Your skin should look normal again within 10 days.
Cupping therapy supporters believe that wet cupping removes harmful substances and toxins from the body to promote healing.
insert acupuncture needles and then puts cup over them.

Side Effects
Cupping is fairly safe, as long as you go to a trained health professional. But you could have these side effects in the area where the cups touch your skin:
Mild discomfort
Burns
Bruises
ACUPUNCTURE
What is Acupuncture? How does acupuncture work?
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese therapy which promotes body's self-healing process by stimulating acupuncture points. Traditional Chinese medicine is based on the philosophy that body remains healthful when two opposing forces, Yin (Universe) and Yang (Body), are in balance. There is a constant flow of energy along specific path (meridians) through 350 Acupuncture points of the body, this keeps Yin and Yang balanced. When the flow of energy is disrupted, body experiences pain/illness. Acupuncture releases blocked energy and helps in bringing Yin and Yang back to a balance, thus enhances self-healing process of the body.
Native to China, Acupuncture therapy has recently gained popularity in Europe, the US and Canada for innumerous health benefits that it provides. Acupuncture is believed to enhance self healing mechanism by:
Improving the speed of transmission of electromagnetic signals in body. This releases endorphins, naturral painkillers of the body, or releases immune system cells in the body
Enhancing release of Opioids, chemicals known to lessen pain and promote sleep.
Changing chemistry of the brain by alternating release of Neurotransmitters and Neurohormones. While Neurotransmitters stimulate/dampen impulses of nerve, Neurohormones
could affect activity of a body organ.
The common Acupuncture method for stimulation involves insertion of fine needles in patient's skin at different points in body. These needles are inserted to diffrent depths through patient's skin. Heat, Presure and electric stimulation could further enhance effects of acupuncture. Other techniques for Acupuncture point stimulation include manual massage, cupping, heat therapy, and application of herbs. Acupuncture points are located on meridians through which flow of vital energy happens. Since there is limited scientific proof for existence of such meridians or acupuncture points, the modern scientific community is divided on benefits of Acupuncture therapy.
Acupuncture Benefits
Acupuncture therapy is considered very safe and has very few side effects. Several studies/research have established beneficial effects of Acupuncture on Nervous system, Immune system, cardiovascular system, Endocrine and digestive system. Acupuncture is also beneficial in pain management, improving sleep and enhancing overall wellbeing, Acupuncture is known to benefit in alleviation of symptoms in conditions of Stress, Osteoarthritis, High Blood Pressure, Nausea caused by chemotherapy, Headaches/
Migrains, Hypertension, Fibromyalgia, Hot Flashes-during menopause and Xerostomia-serve dry mouth. As per WHO (World Health Organization), Acupuncture effectively treats 28 conditions. In practice, however, conditions which could be treated through Acupuncture could be many more.
Acupuncture for Weight Loss : Acupuncture therapy is known to help people lose belly fat. Ear Acupuncture therapy is useful for enabling weight loss.
Sections of the outer earrepresent different body parts. An Acupuncture therapist either inserts one needle in the part of the ear which is linked to hunger/apetite or inserts five needles in different parts of the ear. While hunger acupuncture is very convenient, continuos five point acupuncture is more effective for people suffering from central obesity.
Acupuncture for Bck Pain : Bck pain is among top reasons for people to seek acupuncture, Physicians recommend that acupuncture be given as an alternate therapy to patients who have not been benefitted from regular treatments.
Acupuncture for Fertility : Acupuncture along with herbal medicine has been used for centuries for treating problems related to feritility. Acupuncture works by addressing underlying problems which affect Fertility. Acupuncture could be used for treating spasmed tubes, which could be de-spasmed through acupuncture.
Blocked tubes, however, do not respond to acupuncture. Acupuncture is also used, in combination with herbal remedies, to treat unexplained infertility, elevated
level of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), luteal phase defect, PCOS, Hyperprolactinemia. Acupuncture is also effective in treating men affected with sperm-DNA-fragmentation.
Acupuncture also improves conditions such as Hypothyroidism which are known to impact fertility. Evidently, all cause of infertility cannot be cured solely by Acupuncture. For instance acupuncture may not work for improving tubal adhesions caused due to endometriosis, pelvis inflammatory disease. Acupuncture and herbs could still help the patient by improving blood flow into endomtrial, thus facilitating a rich lining. Also acupuncture and herbs could benefit the patient by improving ovarian and follicular function.
Acupuncture treatment is typically continued for first first three months after conception since most miscarriages occur within three months of conception.
Acupuncture for Stress : Acupuncture is know to alleviate chronic stress. Experiments performed on rats suggest that acupuncture
has similar results as antidepressant drugs
Headaches/Migraines
Xerostomia
Fibromyalgia : Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by widespread pain and tenderness. According to a study, although there is no cure for this condition. Acupuncture brings some respite.
PHYSIOTHERAPY
Physical therapy (PT), also known as physiotherapy, is one of the allied health professions that, by using mechanical force and movements (bio-mechanics or kinesioilogy), manual therapy, excercise therapy, and electrotherapy, remediates impairments and promotes mobility and function.
Electrotherapy
There are several treatment modalities that may come under the umberlla of "electrotherapy". After assessement and discussion with you, your physiotherapist may recommend one of the following treatments. usually in a addition to a specifically targeted home excercise plan or other excercise therapy.
"Mechanical vibration at increasing frequencies is known as sound energy. The normal human sound range is from 16Hz to something approaching 15-20,000 Hz (in children and young adults). Beyond this upper limit, the mechanical vibration is known as ULTRASOUND. The frequencies used in therapy are typically between 1.0 and 3.0 MHz
(1MHz = 1 million cycles per second)."
It is believed that the mechanical vibrations from the ultrasound medicine can enhance the body's ability to heal the tissues more efficiently.
Pulsed shortwave therapy
It is believed that this treatment uses the effects of an electric and magentic field to improve the efficiency of the body's healing processes in soft tissue injuries.
TENS
TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) is a method of providing pain relief without medication. It works by stimulating the nerves to either distract
them from sending pain signals to the brain, or by stimulating the brain to produce natural painkillers, which are stored within the body.
How long does it take?
Normally a treatment session will take between 10 and 20 mins depending on your individual needs.
How many sessions do I have?
This depends on your condition and individual needs. This will be discussed with you at your physiotherapy session.
DISEASES
the approximate periods of hospitalized treatment for the under mentioned
diseases are as shown in the table below:
14 DAYS 21 DAYS 28 DAYS
Diabetes, hypertension, gastrointestinal diseases, headache, whole body pain, numbness of limbs etc
Back-pain, ulcer, piles, anemia, insomnia, jaundice, bodyWeakness, Cardiac diseases, obesity, varicose veins, rheumatism, gynecological diseases, asthma, allergy,
renal diseases, urinary and Gallstones, tumors, infertility, Skin diseases, etc..
In respect of other diseases, a time limit cannot be precisely prescribed. Very many people who had been led to deperation through prolonged allopathic treatment have gone out fully recovered from this institution.
Diabetes
"Diabetes is an incurable disease, if one is affected by it he will die." This is the common notion about diabetes. We are to clear this wrong notion. Hypertension (BP)
BP is not a disease, but it is usually associated with some disease. It can be cured within a fewdays. But those who are taking medicines for BP has to be hospitalised. When we tapper the medicine as our treatment progress, BP BECOMES NORMAL. In order to maintain BP in the normal level patient should take two weeks fasting, mud treatments, Spinal bath, sunbath and yoga. Those whoa re ready for admission by accepting this method can get relief from medicines and high BP.
Heart Block
Hundreds of heart patients who are directed to bypass surgery by doctors are leading normal life by our treatment without block. The details about such patients are available in our hospital. Within four or five weeks of naturopathic treatments, heartblock can be cured to a certain extent, For complete relief six month's treatment
is required.
Gastrointestinal Diseases
Various problems like indigestion, Constipation, heartburn, ulcers, gas trouble, hyperacidity, piles, etc..
can be cured if patient gets admitted for two or three weeks. There is no doubt in such problems even if they are old can be completely cured.
Pains
The treatments for pain is from headache to ankle pain. In the beginning of the treatment the pain will be increased later pain will Slowly decrease and disappear. Within two weeks, pain will be increased later pain will slowly decrease and disappear. Within two weeks, pain will be completely cured. But the pain of those patients,
who are taking medicines since years, cannot be cured within two weeks. Same in cae of smokers, They need longer period to get results.
Respiratory Diseases
Naturopathy completely cures rhinitis, chronic cough, asthma, sneezing, allergy, bronchitis etc. It can be cured within three or four weeks 'treatment. patient may continue the treatment for six months at home. patients who are suffering from asthma should have patience and obedience during the period of treatment as the condition may aggravate first stage if asthma is for children it will be cured faster than that of elders.
Arthritis
